Saturday I finally went to the fabric store and bought the majority of the fabric to my dress! My mom came down to Stockholm for the day and helped me buy it. She's so experienced when it comes to how much you need and all the little stuff that I always forget (like buttons, I had forgotten about buttons!).
But now I got it all (except for the satin, they were out so they're gonna call me this week or next) I snapped this little photo as the lady was folding and putting it into a bright pink bag. I felt very silly and giddy, and extremely happy! I'm making my own wedding dress and it's gonna be so much fun!
I've taken a week off from work in the beginning of May, and I will be going up to Hudiksvall and live in my Aunt's house. She's got a great guestroom/sewing room that I can use. Mom will come and cut the fabric for me (that's the only thing I won't do. Too much pressure), and help me with all the measuring and thinking. She's the best!
May can't come soon enough!
