It was a quiet saturday, and I was on my way to my bachelorette party. At 12.47 I went on the designated train towards Alvik, and I felt like this. Excited and terrified all at once.
One by one, my ladies hopped on the train. Here is Jenny dressed up as an old lady! They gave me clues of what I was going to happen throughout the day. I got a Punchrulle (a kind of cookie), a microphone, false eye lashes and a bottle of bubbly!
First stop was at the thrift store where I got to find an outfit that suit an old lady. I chose this glamorous outfit in yellow and orange.
My girl Linnea was also dressed up!
Cecilia helped me with some lipstick to make my look complete, and then it was picture time!My ladies! Jenny, Cecilia, Mika, Cecilia, Rebecca and Emma
Linnea had brought her bluetooth selfie stick (FAB), so we stood in a corner and had a lot of fun for a while
Then we headed to the second stop: The City Bakery! We had shrimp sandwiches and pastries, and played a game where I got a buch of wrapped gifts and I had to guess who they all were from.
In mid conversation with my darling Cecilia
Raspberry Soda was a must - It was pink!
When we were done we all went in the old elevator, and took a walk to an unknown destination!
Outside the city library Linnea stopped us all and took out her boxed wine (or catheter bag, as we chose to call it)We walked a little bit further and took a break at a bar, where I got a pink panther! They all tried to make me guess what the next adventure was, but I had no idea.
We ended up at a dance studio, and at first I thought we were going to learn how to dance. Turned out we were - Burlesque!!
We had SUCH a great time, the teacher was fabulous. We learned a routine with gloves and a boa, and even got to try tassel twirling!! My friends are the best!
After two hours of dancing and laughing, we walked to Melt and had cheese fondue
Linn and Sanna joined us, and had made an old lady bingo that we played between dinner and dessert. Look at the details - cash, slippers, coffee cups, head scarf and teeth!
CHOCOLATE FONDUE for dessert, and they put little hearts on mine <3
Then we walked downstairs and had champagne, danced and watched some artists sing and dance burlesque
Becca and I
After some persuasion I went up on stage and did a little number with my new Burlesque knowledge. Very innocent though, since I was wearing a dress and wasn't really up to taking it off, ha! Loved being up on stage though, I belong there in one way or another!
Tis is the last photo that was taken before we disappeared into the night for karaoke, drinks and dancing.
I'm so grateful for this day with my lovely friends. They had planned it so well and we did all things I love and more! I will never forget it <3
