This summer while browsing the local Erikshjälpen in Vetlanda I came across this wool skirt. Buying a wool skirt in August sure felt funny, but I knew it would come in handy in December. It was waaaay too small but had tremendous potential to become bigger, and the other day I fixed it. Wool skirts are the best when it gets colder, they are much better than horrible jeans when the temperature drops below freezing. I wore it out for the first time today when testing applesauce (remember I told you about the test panel I'm a part of) because it was pretty cold out when I left this morning. It works great, I tell you. This skirt is a new favorite, and I have a feeling it will not be spending a lot of time in the closet this winter.
As I was attempting to take pictures of the OOTD ("outfit of the day", look I learned a new abbreviation!) I remembered one thing I wanted to buy this summer but never did: a remote to my camera (wink wink to family members reading who wonders what to give me for christmas). It would make my life so much easier. I'd love to explore more with my photography and self portraits (other portraits as well, but at the moment I live alone and my friends live far away, so self portraits it is..).
Now I'm off to work, and after work I'm going to the movies to see a french film called La Vie d'Adèle. Looks like this is going to be a great friday!
