...is taking walks with a friend

I had the day off today, so I called Johanna and asked her if she wanted to go for a walk in town. We started in the heart of Stockholm and continued towards Kungsholmen which is one of the many islands that make up Stockholm. We stopped at a kitchen store to look for clever solutions for Johanna's summer house (that her and her fiancĂ© bought this past summer) and oh boy, there were some pretty cool kitchens in there! We also looked at wall papers that we want in future homes, and lots of other fun stuff. After an hour of walking, talking and looking, we found a bench in the corner of a park and sat down on a Metro (free newspaper) to drink coffee from my thermos and eat the first "lussekatter" of the year! (At least for me)

After the fika, we decided to walk back towards the city center and looked at all the pretty things in the shop windows. Such a great afternoon walk!

(Oh and for those who are unfamiliar with lussekatter, it's a kind of bread with saffron in it. Think cinnamon roll but no cinnamon, and bunches of saffron in the dough instead.)
