...is trying new old outfits

I bought this black see through dress two summers ago, and I've never ever worn it since it really never fit me right. But the other night I felt like trying it on, and whoah! Felt like a Victorian superhero!

Another item that's been resting in my wardrobe for some time (including 2.5 years in different closets in Georgia) is this purple skirt my mother wore when we lived in Tanzania (1992-1994). I used to wear this a lot in high school and the year after high school, but during my later years in Georgia it was just too small.

Therefore I was very happy to discover that it fits again, and that I can wear it all winter if I want to! (With wool and fleece tights, of course)

I love my old clothes that I keep and then find new use for. Specially these days when I'm on a strict budget and don't prioritize new clothes.
So cheers to old skirts and dresses!
